Summary: My wife and I made our first visit to Lake Barkley while staying at this wonderful home. Polly is an excellent host and everything about her home was above and beyond expectations. I cannot imagine a more perfect spot on the lake for a relaxing weekend.

Summary: From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of this property. The open concept provides amazing panoramic views of the lake from each room in the house. The hospitality of the hosts is second to none. Their attention to detail and the special little touches like supplying fresh fruit, water, juices, and a warm welcome package ensures their guests feel right at home! The house is inviting and relaxing with all the modern conveniences. Be sure to brew yourself a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise peak through the trees from the front of the property or pour a nightcap and sit out on the back deck to watch the colorful sunset over the lake.We could not say enough great things about the house or the hosts to do it justice. You'll just have to visit for yourself! The weather turned while we were there and we, unfortunately, had to cut our trip short to return home. The owners we extremely responsive of the situation and kept our safety as a priority. They informed us that there was a storm shelter at the property and even offered to refund the remaining days if we needed to leave early. The genuine kindness and understanding from our hosts was so appreciated! We can't wait to make a return trip and spend a little more time here. The house, the hosts- truly above and beyond what we would have imagined. Ten out of ten for sure!

Summary: I was looking for a nice place to stay around the land between the lakes area. This place did not disappoint. Everything was immaculate! The lake view was stunning. We had fresh fruit, a few little snacks and drinks and a nice welcome gift waiting for us when we arrived. I really appreciated that extra touch. I definitely recommend this propeety. property!

Summary: I had the opportunity to stay in this cottage for a weekend prior to my 50th birthday. The place was clean, user friendly, has lots of nice amenities, and has a beautiful view of the lake and stars. It was a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. The host was very informative and makes the process really easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: We had the best time from the moment we arrived to the day we left, the cottage is so adorable and clean and over looking Lake Barkley was beautiful and very tranquil. Summary: House is awesome!! Super clean, super up to date, extremely well stocked with everything you would ever need! The lake view is phenomenal!! Host is the best!! She checked in to see how things were going and made several local recommendations. I can’t say enough great things about the property and the host Polly! If you’re looking for a place to rent on the lake….THIS IS THE ONE!!
